Angela Brown, a former New York fashion designer of Panamanian descent met and married Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein in a fairy tale Manhattan wedding on January 29, 2000.

Whe was born in Bocas del Toro, Panama on February 3rd, 1958, attended high school in New York, and studied fashion at the Parson's School of Design. For three years, she sold her designs under the name A. Brown and was simultaneously employed by fashion designer Adrienne Vittadini.

Her Prince Prince Maximilian Von Und Zu Liechtenstein was born on May 16, 1969. He attended school in Liechtenstein and earned a degree from the European Business School in Frankfurt in 1993.

He met Angela while he was working for Chase Capital Partners in New York City in 1997. They became fast friends and soon began dating in the summer of 1999.

Ultimately, the couple wed at Saint Vincent Ferrer Church in Manhattan on January 29, 2000. Witnesses at the wedding included Prince Hans Adam II (the grooms father), Princess Marie (the grooms mother), Prince Alois his wife Sophie, Prince Constantin and his wife Marie and Princess Tatjana and her husband Philipp von Lattorff. Her Serene Highness Princess Angela von and zu Liechtenstein, Countess zu Rietberg, wore a dress of her own design. And to show her acceptance in the Princely family, Angela was allowed to wear the family tiara that her sister-in-law, Prince Tatjana wore on her wedding day.

The couple have a young son, Prince Alfonso.
