The year 2012 is almost over. That means it's the time of year when I rewind and list the top race relations stories of the past 365 days. The 2012 presidential race, the Trayvon Martin shooting and the shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin definitely make my Top 7 list. But what are your thoughts on what else should make this list? Perhaps Gwyneth's Paltrow's N-word controversy, Zoe Saldana's casting as Nina Simone or Jeremy Lin's rise to fame in the NBA?
Send in your nominations for the race relations stories that personally touched you or the ones you simply couldn't avoid hearing about. They can be stories you read about here or elsewhere. Once I've received your suggestions, I'll finalize my list and post a link in this blog post. Thanks for visiting my site this year!
